This is a photo collection full of spring seasonal cooking. Included are pictures of fuku-mame (roasted soy beans) and sushi rolls called Eho-maki, both of which are typical fare for the Setsubun festival, a yellowtail and daikon dish with an appetite stimulating glow, and many steaming hot-pot dishes. Colorful foods served at the Girl’s Festival such as Cherry blossom rice cake, called Sakura-mochi, hina-arare (rice crackers), white sake and chirashi sushi are all pleasing to the eye.
